ANIK & JD | Fort De Soto, Florida | Wedding

We became fast friends with Anik and JD. They are such warm and caring individuals, it’s an absolute delight to be around them! Their engagement session taken earlier this year is one of our favorites and I really can’t say enough about their wedding! It was filled with so much emotion and beauty. It truly was a beautiful event to witness and an honor to photograph. The ceremony took place on the beach in Fort De Soto Park. The site was beautifully constructed and the details were amazing! The reception followed at the Tampa Bay Watch on the second story overlooking the ocean.
An amazing team of vendors worked together to create this beautiful masterpiece. First and foremost I must mention Lovelynn Jensen of Grand Events. She coordinated and stylized the wedding and did a remarkable job! Christine Wheaton of Femme Akoi beautified our bride with her make-up and hair talents. The delicious and unique cake was created by The Sugar Suite. Cara of Hearts Video was a delight as always to work with. The Dillingham Quartet was the perfect musical accompaniment to the ceremony. The reception party grooved to the classic jazz of The Alan Thomas Group. The wedding invitations were custom designed by Anna Bond of Rifle Paper Co (a new favorite of mine!). The day ended with the newlyweds walking through sparklers out to the dock where their boat awaited them. A perfect ending to a completely perfect day!

DANIELLE & STEVE | Lady Lake, Florida | Wedding

Danielle and Steve’s beautiful wedding took place at the Harbor Hills Country Club in Lady Lake, Florida. Danielle’s impeccable taste in colors, decor and style created a complete masterpiece. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, from the bridesmaids’ amazing dresses and custom designed necklaces, to the reception’s fabulous blue and green decor! Danielle and Steve had a first look prior to the ceremony, which is always a treat for us. We took the couple around the grounds getting wonderful images of the two of them! When time allows we love to let our creative juices flow and have some fun with the bride and groom portraits. It was fantastic to have so much time and excitement put into the photography by Danielle and Steve! They were both amazing to work with! Their friendship and love for each other was a beautiful thing to document! After a night of dancing, the happy couple was sent off with the glow of sparklers!

Well, we are long over due for a blog posting! My apologies for keeping you waiting! The good news is we have dozens of weddings and engagement sessions to post!! Lindsay and Ferdi were the wonderful couple from our Twilight themed engagement session. It was very special to be part of their beautiful wedding day. The wedding took place at the Fort Harrison Hotel. Every detail of the hotel was renovated last year and it is truly the most spectacular hotel in the area! Lindsay looked so gorgeous and Ferdi was handsome as always. The wedding was perfect in every way and you couldn’t have asked for a happier more in love couple! These two have quite a beautiful life ahead of them!

Lindsey & Mitch | Cape Canaveral, Florida | Wedding

Lindsey and Mitch were married on a gorgeous day over in Cape Canaveral, FL. The wedding took place at Milliken’s Reef restaurant, which is located on one of the most picturesque setting on the port. It was such a lovely, laid back daytime wedding and reception.

Lindsey and Mitch are two of the nicest and warmest individuals with equally warm and wonderful families! We really loved being a part of their big day!

Megan & Abe | St. Petersburg, Florida | Wedding

Megan and Abe’s wedding took place at the fabulously pink Don Cesar resort. The ceremony was moved indoors due to weather conditions, but that didn’t dampen their spirits! Megan and Abe enjoyed every minute of their wonderful wedding day! Their K-9 pooches were part of the wedding celebration, properly attired in a tux and pearl necklace. The reception was beautifully decorated with pink and gold satin linens, gorgeous florals, a tall champagne tower, a large ice sculpture, and even an ornate gobo of their initials. Amber Patricio of Event Design did a spectacular job on the decor and event coordination. Megan and Abe, it was great getting to know you and being a part of your wonderful day! You two are a perfect pair and we are excited for all the adventures ahead of you!

Maryam & Kyle | New York, New York | Wedding

Kyle and Maryam’s wedding was done in true New York style. We took them through the streets of NYC, photographing them at many of the major NYC monuments. Their wedding extravaganza took place at the Midtown Loft and Terrace. The traditional Persian ceremony was held inside the beautiful loft area. Cocktails followed upstairs on the wrap-around terrace with 360-degree views of the Manhattan skyline, during which time the loft was quickly transformed for dinner and dancing. Wanting the urban sounds of New York to be infused into their celebration, the couple hired a variety of talented street musicians to play in addition to their fantastic live band. The celebration lasted through the night and was filled with fun surprises like a cigar roller, hookahs, and a second midnight meal of yummy sliders and fries! Maryam looked absolutely stunning! I really loved the bridal portraits we did in her hotel room at the Union Square W Hotel. Nothing beats natural window light! Aren’t they just too cool?! And does the groom not remind you of Daniel Craig in 007?In Grand Central Station! Right in the middle of Time Square literally stopping traffic!
And a little Abbey Road. The groom took off his shoes and socks and jumped in the fountain (groomsmen following close behind). This was all before the ceremony!!
The rooftop of the Midtown Loft and Terrace filled with friends, family and amazing music! The view from the Midtown Loft and Terrace couldn’t be beat! The Empire State Building seemed close enough to touch!

Kyle and Maryam’s celebration was New York City at it’s best!

KALEN & RAFAEL | Oakland, CALIFORNIA | WEDDING

It was great making a little jaunt over to California for Kalen and Rafael’s beautiful wedding! A wonderful couple, beautiful countryside and fantastic weather made this wedding perfection! Kalen got ready at the Deer Crossing Inn. The inn was picture-perfect, set in rolling hills of wheat with a fun faux gold mining scene on the property. The wedding ceremony was held in a gorgeous Japanese garden.

This last photo almost looks surreal. It’s one of my favorites!

Congratulations Kalen and Rafael! We were so happy to be apart of your wedding day. You are both wonderful and caring individuals who compliment each other perfectly! We have no doubt you two are going to have a beautiful future together!
