We love shooting weddings where we’ve already worked with the client at another wedding–in Monica and Javi’s case, they were present (and Javi was IN the wedding party) at Kari + Larry’s amazing wedding last November. In most cases we get so see a lot of the same guests and family members, so capturing natural moments of them all is that much easier and effortless! Monica and Javi’s wedding was certainly no exception to that rule. 🙂

Monica and Javi chose to have their wedding at the Renaissance Vinoy Hotel in St Petersburg, FL, a GORGEOUS location for photography and a classy and elegant hotel in and of itself. They both got ready there and then headed just a few minutes away to St John’s Catholic Church for the ceremony. We then guided Monica, Javi and their wedding party to several ideal locations in downtown St Pete for some fun and natural wedding party photos, at which point they hopped back on the shuttle to enjoy the remainder of the cocktail hour at the Vinoy Hotel. We then spent a few more minutes capturing some wonderful moments of Monica and Javi together alone before heading back to the hotel for the reception (which, btw, you’ve GOTTA see so be sure to scroll down for all of those amazing details).

As always, we couldn’t have captured and created such wonderful images had we not had the pleasure of working with other amazing vendors that day. Thank you once again to the incredibly talented and relaxed (LOVE that) Lisa Mohyla of Exquisite Events for her flawless event execution. The Renaissance Vinoy staff and on-site planners, Tampa Wonderworks, Ambassador Limousine–you are all a dream to work with, as usual. 🙂

We are thrilled to have been part of Heather + Billy’s nuptials and PARTY that they held in Sarasota at the Hyatt Regency Hotel right near downtown Sarasota. The hotel itself is a beautiful location right on the harbor with no shortage of great places to shoot. And Heather + Billy were so perfectly fun and natural that it made the entire experience fun for the both of us! 🙂 A huge thank you to all of the wonderful vendors who were involved in their wedding day and helped to make it the success that it was. Congrats once again, guys!! 🙂
